[ FIRST IMPRESSIONS ]

Visual: Molly has a striking appearance. He's a bright lavender-skinned tiefling with solid red eyes, dark purple hair, and curled purple horns and a devilish tail. He's gone through efforts to make himself stand out even more, being covered in tattoos, the two most easily identifiable while he's fully clothed being the peacock on his shoulder and chest that curves up onto his cheek and the snake that curls down his arm and ends with its fangs on his hand. With his shirt removed, you can see the serpent melds with a floral piece on his shoulder, and on his back between his shoulder blades there are tattoos of an eye within a pyramid, with a sun and moon flanking it. Each of these tattoos, oddly, has a red accent "eye"... that bleed when he uses his blood hunter abilities. Across his chest and his shoulders and back and neck he has hundreds of thin scars. His horns are pierced and adorned with gems and baubles, and his pointed ears are as well. Fashion: Cosplayer's worst nightmare. He wears a bright multicolored cloak patterned intricately with religious iconography, along with colorful clothes underneath to match. A proponent of thigh high boots and low cut shirts. Demeanor: Mollymauk is a carnie through and through; he knows what he looks like and uses it to his advantage. If someone reacts negatively in a snap judgment, he's already figured out what kind of person they are. If someone doesn't, they might be worth his time. He exudes a certain charisma that is really not that charismatic at all, a little sleazy and a little pompous, but he has a certain charm and a way of working the less skeptical. Every word out of his mouth is a lie, and to many that might be obvious. Sound: Light and airy, with a hint of an Irish accent approximated by someone who's really just heard the one and adopted it for himself purposefully. That is to say, it's not the best Irish accent, but Ireland doesn't exist in Exandria so who can say what he's supposed to sound like? You can hear him in this clip. Scent: Like the inside of a variety pack of incense. Mental information: Molly has no defenses against psychic attack. Every word out of his mouth is a lie and he has no memories past two years ago. No traumatic childhood here; no childhood at all! Magical information: Molly has weird magic blood that can imbue anything it touches with the power of either ice magic or radiant magic. He also has a weird, inexplicable link to fey, fiends, and undead, one that he can't explain as it comes from prior to his amnesia. One of his swords (golden in color) is magical on its own as well, having the ability to grant him teleportation within 30 feet.

Hugging this character: Do it, he's fine with it! Kissing this character: Doooo it, he can get kissy sometimes with forehead kisses being his favorite. Warnings: Molly has some serious boundary issues with his ability to use Charm Person, causing someone to be charmed by him and agreeable to whatever he says. I'll always ask first, but if you want a hard no on this please say so here! Additionally, Molly's blood hunter abilities involve self harm in order to activate his abilities and enchant his weapons. His Blood Curse of the Eyeless also involves causing blood to pool in an enemy's eyes, which can be squicky for some. Let me know if you need me to avoid describing these things in fighting tags. Lastly, Molly comes with serious, major spoilers for Critical Role campaign 2 (up to episode 26), so let me know if you need me to avoid those!
